South Sudanese refugees are transferred from the Kuluba Transit Center toward settlements provided by the Ugandan government. ; Uganda continues to receive refugee influxes from South Sudan (an estimated 399,213 in 2016), DRC (33,420) Burundi (14,610) and Somalia (5,883), with more than 400,000 new arrivals registered in total in 2016. All refugees from these tree countries are recognized on a prima foci basis.
