Building businesses through entrepreneurship workshops

More than 100 young Ugandan entrepreneurs took part in series of workshops with U.S. entrepreneur Rhett Power during his September 6-15 visit to Uganda.
Through the U.S. Speaker Program, Mr. Power helped up-and-coming entrepreneurs transform their ideas into practical business plans with greater potential for success and sustainability.

Established entrepreneurs learned how to better manage business risks, navigate difficult moments, seek capital, and develop partnerships to help their enterprises grow.

This year at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Silicon Valley, President Obama stated that entrepreneurship remains one of the key engagement priorities for the United States around the world. The U.S. Mission is committed to accelerating Uganda’s transition to a modern and prosperous country.
