Expressions of Interest: Uganda Nexus Livelihood Activity for Refugees & Host Communities

USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance has launched a new Broad Agency Announcement for a Uganda Nexus Livelihood Activity for Refugees & Host Communities.  This co-creation approach aims to decrease vulnerability among refugees and host communities in the districts of Lamwo and Isingiro.  Interested parties can submit short expressions of interest and find out more information about the announcement here and here.

USAID is interested in working with coalitions of stakeholders, including non-traditional partners, to co-create and collaborate on three thematic areas.

  • Theme 1: Increasing availability and diversity of market opportunities for households to build sustainable livelihoods;
  • Theme 2: Increasing access to, and availability of, key productive assets and critical services, including finance;
  • Theme 3: Increasing capacities of, and coordination between, key actors.
