The United States is dedicated to helping improve the lives of the people of Uganda.
Last week in South Africa, Ambassador Malac and officials from The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) approved $380 million in new programming for Uganda.
This U.S. government assistance is the result of months of hard work and collaboration between PEPFAR and Ugandans from government and civil society.
This new country plan will help guide PEPFAR”s efforts to achieve sustainable control of the country’s HIV/AIDS epidemic – and ultimately produce an AIDS-free generation.
