Effective immediately, the American Center in Kampala (formerly known as the Information Resource Center) is issuing new plastic ID badges for membership access. All members with the laminated paper cards should visit the American Center before March 31, 2018 in order to obtain a new membership card. The laminated membership cards will no longer grant access to the American Center after March 31. Members who fail to renew their cards before the deadline will have to make an appointment in order to renew their American Center membership cards or use the EducationUSA facilities.
The process of replacing your card takes only a few minutes and no passport sized photo is required. For inquiries, please contact KampalaAmericanCenter@state.gov.
