U.S. Ambassador Scott DeLisi will be hosting a town hall meeting at the U.S. Embassy in Kampala Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Ambassador DeLisi, consular staff, and other Embassy representatives will be speaking, and there will be time for questions from guests. Special topics for this town hall will include taxes and overseas voting, and representatives from USAID, CDC, Peace Corps, and other organizations will be there with information on their programs in Uganda.
If you are able to join us, please RSVP with an email toKampalaUSCitizen@state.gov in order to be added to the guest list. We are able to accommodate 200 guests on a first-come first-serve basis, so only U.S. citizens who have RSVP’ed and received confirmation that they are on the guest list will be admitted. Responses must be received no later than April 1, 2014, and must include your name and the name(s) of anyone else in your party. On the day of the event, please remember to bring your U.S. passport.
