U.S. Embassy EducationUSA Scholars Program. | Applications accepted until Friday, December 22nd.

The EducationUSA office in Kampala seeks to identify and recruit 30 Ugandan students to join the U.S. Embassy EducationUSA Scholars Program.

Due to technical difficulties, the EducationUSA Scholars Program application has been extended until Friday, December 22nd.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused.  Any applications completed before the form link was disabled is still considered valid.

The EducationUSA office at the U.S. Embassy guides talented and determined students through the admissions process for colleges and universities in the United States. Selected students will attend regular seminars that will assist them through the application process. Students will work with our EducationUSA advising staff over this year and the next year to try to secure admission and financial assistance to begin study in the United States in August 2019.

Please noteentrance into this program provides no guarantee of admission to a university or financial assistance to study in the United States.

With this in mind, students admitted to the EducationUSA Scholars program must be prepared to dedicate their time and energy to the program. With the right commitment, focused determination, hard work, and support from the EducationUSA advising staff, one can be successful in their dreams of pursuing higher education in the United States.

We do not limit the program geographically: however, students must be able to reach our office in Kampala as required for full participation.
